Special Projects

Responding to the challenge presented by Barbara Snook, the Otago University Caroline Plummer Fellow 2008, to produce an art piece that represented the dance work Barbara has been doing in Dunedin, I spent some time observing the dance group at the School of Physical Education, and the presentation of their work at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery.

I have enjoyed being part of the 2008 collaborative project by the NZ Art Guild where small canvasses are distributed to artists throughout New Zealand with instructions only to follow the theme "On Your Mind".
My work is on the second bottom row, third from the right.

Again this year I enjoyed being part of the 2009 collaborative project by the NZ Art Guild where small canvasses are distributed to artists throughout New Zealand with instructions only to follow the theme "Ngatahi". The final result is auctioned off to raise money for Charity. My contribution is on the right hand column fourth from the top.

Once again I have enjoyed being part of the collaborative project by the NZ Art Guild. Sixty four small canvasses are distributed to artists throughout New Zealand with instructions only to follow the theme "Bloom". For the record my work is on the bottom row, second from the left.

Once again this year I enjoyed being part of the 2011 collaborative project by the NZ Art Guild where small canvasses are distributed to artists throughout New Zealand with instructions only to follow the theme "Light Of My Life". The final result is auctioned off to raise money for Charity. My piece is at the top left hand corner.
Sadly the NZ Art Guild was disbanded this year after many years of good work for Artists and the community.
